9 week push
My husband and two of our friends have started a weight loss competition. My husband has had lap band this Dec. So my friend and her husband and i are doing boys against the girls for a 9 weeks contest. It is sort of fun and has given me an extra edge to want to do better. We have been taking all 5 children out bike riding at night. We have one of those bike trailers and the kids are loving it and my husband actually goes and is happy about it and is actually a driving force behind it. You have no idea how happy this makes me. I bought the trailer and the kids bike seat thinking i would have to haul three kids myself. He automatically hooked the trailer up to his bike and said he was going to. Now.. if i would have asked him he never would have. LOL OH well....
Anyway i have pushed my protein up to at least 80 a day and do 30-60 min of exercise and dropped 9 lbs in one week. Now this week doesn't look like much so far.. but 9 in one week is the most i have lost since almost November. So it was a very happy thing. Guess it just shows me how i was sabotaging myself with chips and not enough protein.
The reason for the 9 week thing is that will be my year mark. I so desperately want to be under 200 at my year mark. That has been my goal. So i have 25 lbs to lose to be at 199 on June 13th. So i figure i have 7 more weeks to work at losing the 25 lbs. That is 3.5 lbs a week. May be pushing it a bit... but if i get back to basics i don't think i will be that far off. Good heck... when i do get to 199 literally 5th grade will be the last time i weighed that. I AM SOOOO CLOSE!!
