HELP!!!

What in the world is wrong with me! Why am I trying to ruin everything I have accomplished?!! I have eaten everything in sight for the last 3 days! Carbs and more Carbs. Stuffing myself like a crazy person! I have eaten several huge pieces of cake, whipped cream, mega chocolate, crackers, bread and 3 square meals on top of that! I am so ashamed of myself! I have lost almost 100 pounds and have so much to be thankful for. God help me! What am I doing? I have gained 7 pounds in the past week from so many carbs! Someone please say something to help me get back on track! I need help bad!

Go back to the basics. Protein and water first. I was finding that I was having PMS cravings mid month and indulging them. So what I did was try to fill up first with my water and protein and it seems to be working. Get back on track and check in with us later this week. You can do this!!! Wendy

It happens to the best of us. I just lost the weight I gained the first half of this month. I did a couple of protein shakes a day, and though I still cheated a bit, still lost. That seemed to help, getting my protein from the shakes instead of mostly food. Good luck to you. You just have to remember that no one is perfect. Even the healthiest person stumbles sometimes.

Wendy and Kelli Jo, thank you so much. I just feel so helpless and weak sometimes and it makes me crazy. I want more than anything to win this fight. That is why it is so hard to understand why I do things like this. Thank you for your support.

sometime when im craving carbs its also a sweets thing so i try to get it from good carbs like fruit. my fav is yogurt with some fresh fruit and a little granola. its sweet and juicy and crunchy. just a thought Monica

Bev i was right there with you. I finally picked myself up... brushed the crumbs off my face and got back to basics. I made sure i was getting at least 80 grams of liquid protein and my vitamins. I had slacked off so much on my protein intake that i think it was making me even more hungry because i wan't gettign waht i should. Also i am not a good brekfast eater so come nighttime i was starving and ate much much more than i should. So i do a heavy protein shake in the AM when i don't feel like eating. I think it has helped. One thing i had to do was cut out all bad carbs again. I found i am such a carb addict that they just make me want more and more of them. I have gotten some of those Atkins protein candy things that have no sugar but yet satisfy my sweet craving and make me feel like i am getting something yummy. That has helped a lot. And i am already 8 lbs down in 4 days. It is amazing just how stopping the bad carbs for me and pushing the protein has really helped.
