I had fun in chat tonight! Bring on the duct tape!! I need to scoop up my thighs and duct tape them under my shorts! And while I'm at it - I need to to pull up my whole middle and duct tape it under my bra. I'd duct tape my chin back - but I can't figure out where to hide the tape... Anyone else feel this way???? Do you look at yourself and think your skin is just gonna slide right off? Ever get your extra thigh skin stuck under the toilet seat?????? That hurts! Sometimes when I look at myself, I worry that that silence of the lambs guy is gonna get me!! Lord, help me to win the Lotto or give me some more duct tape! Pam 250/132/125??

Pam!!! Yeah, I hear ya...only my skin still has a lot of fat included in it! I'm a workin' on it, though. I think the duct tape could hold the big pockets of skin/other on the backs of my legs so that I could jog...that would be cool. And, well, my girls certainly could use a big lift! Go ahead and ship the roll over to me when you're done with it!!! Hugs, Kerri PS~ 6 more lbs. to Onederland...will I ever get there?????

You can do it Kerri. Hang in there!!!! I broke 200 a few weeks ago and am now sticking at 195. It's so weird how and when the pounds decide to fall off. Nothing, then BAM! You are gonna luv it! As for skin, dang!!!!! My legs alone would need several rolls. As for my girls, I can't even talk about it. I'm now a 38D - all skin and no boob. Not a pleasant sight. Dawn

Oh it's just wierd lookin' isn't it? My arms and legs still have fat packs all in them- but from my shoulders to my the fat is all gone and it's just skin....including my boobs and my butt. It really is sad lookin! Don't know if I'll have any tape left when I'm done - gonna have to buy it in BULK!! Ohhhhhhh you are so close!!!! You are gonna make that goal in NO TIME and then watch out! It will pick up speed - at least for a little while! Sending the whooshie your way - I'll have to owe ya on the duct tape Hugs, Pam

They have clear duct tape... maybe for your chin? LOL To your silence of the lambs comment.. i often stretch out my skin and think of how many burn victims i coudl help. BY THE WAY i heard a rumour that if you donated yoru skin to burn centers they woudl do the surgeries for free. Anyone else heard that before???? I have to tell you... i put a bra on today and it was kind of snug... suppose to be a puch up bra. Well when i pulled the girls into it. Instead of cleavage i literally had a fold line sticking out of each side where the skin had folded over. It was so sad. My three year old was sitting on my lap today and i was in shorts. He started playing with my skin. He woudl mold it like playdo then lift it up and shake it. The look on his face was puzzled. (he was not saying anythign but i could see his thought process) He then lifted up his pant leg and tried to do the same to his leg. He pinched all over his body trying to get the skin to do the same thing. Then he tilted his head and played with mine again. You could just tell he had no idea why i had such fun skin. Made me laugh.

Awesome picture Paula! It's great to have such a great sense of humor about all of this, huh? I can just picture your little boy... Hugs, Kerri

We checked into the skin donation thing a week or two ago. If you look back, there is a link from the burn center people. Our excess is not what they need. They need skin that is firmly attached, like on the back, etc. Wouldn't it be nice if they could use it? Noone would ever be short of skin for burn victims again. This website would make sure of that! Kristie

Here's a copy of that one. I figured it would be much easier for me to find it again. This is what I found from the American Burn Association's newsletter: Skin Donations "The ABA frequently receives calls from individuals who have lost a large amount of weight and wish to donate their excess skin to burn patients. While we appreciate their intentions, this type of donation usually will not help burned patients, since skin grafts require a very thin, uniform layer of skin and must be obtained from taut skin that is firmly attached to muscle, such as skin from a donor's back. Skin removed after drastic weight loss is not firmly attached to underlying tissues and cannot be removed properly. If your burn center receives such calls, please thank the prospective donor for their offer, but explain to them why such donations cannot be used to help burn patients." Looks like that is another dead end! Kristie

Hey Paula! I love your new pic! I wi**** were true about being able to donate the skin. What a wonderful deal that could have been for both sides. OMG - the bra's! I have bunch of push up bra's (all very padded) and I have to wear shirts that absolutely do not show anything no matter what position I'm in. My boobs are just skin - like yours - all folded up! There's no fullness whatsoever. I can hardly wait to get HIGHER perky new FULL ones! I'm going for it! My son does the same thing. He's six. He like to play with my arms mostly. So funny, he was playing with his cars on the floor and he stopped and jiggled his legs and said "LOOK MOMMY - I got jiggly too!" Sometimes, I have to stop him from playing with my arms and talking about them when we are in public. He LOVES to show people! Can't wait to get rid of THAT toy! Hugs, Pam
