HELLO FRIENDS...

don't want to start a war, just want to make everyone aware and let them form their own opinions. for those of you who haven't heard, did you read "this month's rant" on bariatriceating? if not and if you spend your hard-earned dollars there, take a minute to go read it! boy, did that tick me off! heidi has a post on the main board and from the sounds of it, lots of people will be boycotting the products there. anyways, just wanted to put that out there. everyone have a great friday! hugs~mary jo

Mary Jo I just went and read that rant. Wow, talk about negative. Isnt it ironic that she is doing the same thing that she is accusing everyone on this board of doing. I like this message board it is real. Real people facing real issues and temptations and we come together to support one another. I know that occasionally some people get negative. But I think for the most part people are very supportive. I never see any negative comments on our June board we are all very supportive of one another. Oh well, she is entitleed to her opinion. I think it is just a case of childish, 'Ha, Ha, my messageboard is better then yours". To each her own. I like that we can come here for support when we mess up and have some tostitoes or a mini snickers. I like that we can come here when we dont feel like taking the horse pill vitamins that we have to take. Sometimes you just need a safe place to whine and I think that we have that in this board, especially our June board. Oh well, she is entitled to her opinion. Have a great day Lynn

yeah, i agree lynn. to each their own. and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. i just don't know how she expects to slam the people on this board and then keep them as customers. i love the june board (and the lightweights board). lots of love and support. i like the main board too, controversy and all. hugsssssss

I agree, I learn alot from both boards. I enjoy reading everyones posts and seeing what they are all going through. The good, the bad and the ugly. I find it refreshing that people are so honest about what they are going through. If everyone hid what they were going through so that it appeared that they were perfect, I think that would be bad for us all. It helps to know that other people are going through the same good and bad stuff. I order from her occasionally but everything I get from her I can get elsewhere. Lynn

exactly what i was thinking, but you worded it so much better than me! and not to slam anyone, but i am disgusted that Miss what-did--you-eat-today is over there right along with her. i mean, i looked up to her, have emailed her at times for support or guidance. makes me wonder now, has she talked about me too? when i have asked for help in getting in more protein, am i someone they throw spears at? just makes you realize who is REAL on these boards! hugsssssss

Okay..u know I am out of the loop often.. but yea, that rant is in poor taste. First, I also have bought products from there, found out about it thru this site. We all have issues, and no one is perfect. So, now if someone does have a problem, they more than likely will not bring it up on that board, for fear they will be ridiculed, instead of received well and given good, plain advice. Okay, so some of us are nicer than others, and try to soften the blow... but I think we all know, protein first... though we may suck at it sometimes. Just like I know I shouldn't have carbs and sugar, but I'm a major screw up sometimes, and as my daugther says"just suck at life" at times. So what. For the most part, I feel most people here, are half glass full people. That is why people tell others, it's okay you ate those chips, we all have bad days. Instead of screaming like a drill sergeant at how horrible a mistake that is, which to me would be a glas half empty view. Once the chips are in the stomach, there is not much you can do but support a person and move on. Would it be better to cover up all our faults, like we may have in the past, instead of reviewing them and correcting them, NO! That is what got us here to start with. I agree with you Mary Jo. Now, I don't seem to know her like you guys do (is she on this board? if so, oops...) but I have pruchased there and was very impressed with her sight. She sent me extras and a nice sweet note with my order, which I truly appreciated. Everyone has a right to her opinion, so I think she has a right to say what she said. A smart business move???? Well... then... ??? But I love ya'll even though I suck at posting here too.

hey girl, so good to see you!!! not a smart business move, not in my opinion. and like others have said on the main board, i don't disagree with ALL of what she says. BUT... it is how she said things and directing towards OH. that's what ****** me off. the whole "our board is better than yours" attitude. everyone is entitled to their own opinion and if it was a disgruntled OH member then it would be somewhat different. i just think it was very unprofessional and in poor taste. Hey..I'm fine. My computer broke, so I've come on when I can. But my new one should be delivered tomorrow. So that will be excellent! I did okay last month in weight loss, but this month have put back on a few pounds this month ...all that doggone Easter candy. But I'll get rid of it. You have done a wonderful job!

Mary Jo, I agree totally that SM is an idiot! What an ass! But our girl from our board shouldn't get yelled at for using her sight. We Junies need to stay away from the I hate her and him and the other guy. We have enough of that on the other boards! Maybe she is very insecure and needs everyone to love her so she follows along. Some people are sheep and need guidance more than others. I don't go beyond this board and the MI board because of the negativity. I don't want a perfect world, just support where it is suppossed to be gotten from. And if people like SM want to throw insults at people I will stay away from them too! Screw 'em all!
