i read the main board everyday, all day. i see posts titled "my 1 year anniversary" and such, and i always think WOW, one year out. i have been realizing, we are 9 months out, some of us coming up on 10 months out. i can't believe in 2 more months, we will be posting about our 1 year anniversaries. has it really gone by this fast? does anyone else find themselves wishing they were a "newbie" again? sometimes i still feel new, but we been living this new life for the past 9-10 months already! this has been such a great ride, a small part of me just wishes i could rewind and start over and over again! i know, i am crazy! but with everything i have accomplished thus far, it has given me such joy and i wish i could feel it forever! hugs~mary jo 221/122/120???

I just said to my husband last night that I miss the beginning. All you could have was a limited amount of food. Now I actually have to make choices and they are not always the best ones. I need a personal chef like Oprah! LOL! I can't seem to think of what I want to eat ahead of time, then I am ravenous and eat stupid things like chips. I don't want to be a year out and not at goal, but it looks like that is what will be! I am happy with the loss I have gotten though, I can move better and do stuff now. But I know what you mean about missing the beginning. Wendy

I don't want to be a newbie again. I am happy being where I am. I like the way I am now compared to the way I was. I like, not being stared at or totaly ignored or whispered about. Now I am just normal and go on with out the comments or the glares. I like that just fine. Of course right now I am hiding at home until the bruises from the facelift go away but that too shall pass. LOL You have done a wonderful job of losing Mary Jo. I am proud of you and all you have accomplished. I am really going to celebrate my first anniversary!!!! Party time. Hope you do the same.
