Wow~~~ You did great today!!! I didn't have such a wonderful day... way too cold, damp & rainy here in Southern Ohio all day today. I did have to run lots of errands, so at least was out of the house most of the day. It was actually thundering & lightning this a.m. I can't wait for better weather so that I can get out and walk around our property... we have 30 acres, so I have lots of space to "roam". Thanks for sharing your day with us.... you are AWSOME!!! Karen 320/177/150-ish???

Wow Karen, 30 acres!! I sure hope spring finds it's way to you real soon! My hubby's aunts have a huge piece of property with trails around the woods and around the fields. When we were dating, we use to go hiking around there all throughout the fall. I miss that! Yesterday and today were our first 'taste' of spring here. I've been stalking the weather and looking forward to it all week long - making a committment to get out there and LIVE! It was great! Pam

It was beautiful in Philadelphia as well. I'm still not quite back to normal from my infection so I was not nearly as active as you Pam. I did the Macy's workout and found a summer shirt mistakenly marked 65% off. The sales person was so mad but it was marked 65% off. I should have bought two. After Macy's we put the top down and drove to Create and Barrel to get a candle holder for our dinner party. We then came home and I took a nap (I'm still really wiped out from the infection). Got up at 5 and began to cook for the party. The dinner party was fun. I'm feeling like I can workout today (for the first time in two weeks). I'll go to the gym since it is raining here today and walk on the track. I don't think I will be able to do the precor machine today. I'll be glad when I'm finished with these antibiotics. I also have to check with my cardiologist because I think my BP meds are way too high. I keep getting dizzy. keep up the great excerise routine, Chip

Wow Chip! You scored BIG TIME at Macy's!! I need to shop with you! That sounds so nice driving with the top down. I drove will all my windows down trying to get as much sunshine and air as I could. I sure hope your infection gets all cleared up soon. What a long road this ordeal has been for you. I'm sending you prayers for a complete and healthy recovery. You know, my sister was on BP meds before her RNY...had been for years. She started experiencing lightheadedness and dizziness after a couple of months post-op. Turns out, they needed to adjust her meds DOWN.... then she would experience it again....they'd adjust again....and now she is completely OFF the BP meds! I wonder if that will slow your recovery - since your blood my not be pumping as effectively and making your heart work harder. I would definitely get that checked out! Hugs, Pam

You are totally inspiring me to get my booty moving again- I have been just sitting around, and NOT losing weight!! OK I SWEAR I am going to use my treadmill today.... It actually snowed this morning here, about 2 inches and it is really slushy out. Yup, snow in Tucson.... weird!! Tiff

I'm hoping we can all inspire each other to get moving this spring/summer. We have all lost so much weight by now and we can all face this time of year with a whole new outlook on life! How EXCITING!! I had a treadmill at home and I NEVER used that darn thing. Then I got an eliptical...same deal... Got a weight center with all the different stations on it...same deal. I discovered that I need group activities. I joined the gym. I'm not likely to go in there all by myself to workout on the machines. I have done it - but not faithfully. (I might get better about that pre-plastics though). I DO like the classes they have at the gym. I love the Kickboxing/cario class! They have that twice a week and I'm gonna try the BOOT CAMP class. It's so much fun because it's mostly the same people in the classes and you kind of build a "Team" sense and make some new friendships. It keeps me going back. Plus, you can see that everyone else is struggling just like you are - so that makes me feel like less of an outcast. hugs, Pam

WOW PAM!!!!!!! YOU were busy.... HERE on LONG ISLAND the weather was delightful too.....BUT i was busy rearrangeing my yard to fit the pool back there. I have a ton of play equipment in the yard being i do daycare so i was busy busy busy. TOGETHER me and hubby moved a huge cedar wook treehouse swingset too. SO i was pretty active myself. I was worried that i hurt my tummy at one point i started getting contracting cramps (not TOM ) and was getting alot of them but i then relized i fed the kids outside and was so busy redoing the yard i didnt eat so i did have a handfull of pretzels and felt better. ODD symptom of no eating enough. I also shopped walmart in the am for my weekly things and then had a relaxing dinner at APPLEBEES with the entire family. I had the sirloin steak chile which was good. TODAY is raining and im disappointed would have liked to ride bikes with the kids today but not gonna happen. I didnt know it was supposed to rain thought was gonna be nice like yesterday so today the inside of the house for me. LISA PS: did u get my regular postal mail?

DANG Lisa! Sounds like you got one heck of a workout in that yard! That's hard work! MMMMM I love Applebee's chile! I didn't get your mail yet, but it takes 3 or 4 days - so I'm sure it will come soon. Thanks for doing that! Awww too bad about the rain! It was 82 degrees here today and we had a lot of clouds. I thought it was going to rain...but so far it hasn't. I want so badly to be able to ride bikes! There's just too many dogs in our neighborhood and a couple of the owners just don't have very good control over them. I hate that, because we have a really nice neighborhood...it's just the two dogs that ruin it. I think I might try taking the bikes to that park in the back of my hubby's pickup and see how that goes. Hey, have you tried the Boca burgers? Those things are AWESOME! I grill some onions with it and eat it with a little mustard. OMG yummy! Each burger has only 90 calories and 14 grams of protein. They are very very filling. Most of the time I can't finish one. That is an awesome meal - 100 calories - high protein - filling. If you haven't tried them - you've gotta! I got the American Flame broiled ones. Hugs, Pam

Gonna go get me one of those boca Burgers... I've been eating hospital food (family member broker their neck) for over a month and haven't lost a pound... probably gained. ... so I hope I meet my monthly goal by April 1st. Thank you for your posts.
