What is the Plateaus Buster Diet?
Hi Lisa!
I read your plateau buster diet.... would this also work to help someone get back on track??? I seem to have lost my focus and am indulging in way too many sugar free things (chocolates, moose tracks ice cream, hard candies and cookies). These things are way too yummy and I know that I need to cut them out totally, since right now, I can't seem to control them.
At any rate, between getting off track with things and work driving me crazy (very busy, hectic and always on the road traveling), I'm not sure where I am at with things anymore. I know that I need to lose about another 30 lbs and am starting to get scared that my time is running out (you know... that "window of opportunity" thing)! I'm also worried that my intake is getting too high at any one time (leading me to wonder if I've stretched out my pouch.... or, if it is still "working"!).
I'm not sure what to do to regain my focus... do you think that the plateau buster diet might help? I keep meaning to get back with my nutritionist, but, again, life has been so hectic that I can't seem to make time to call and schedule an appointment.

Hey i am going to start this diet tomorrow. I have become out of control and need to get back to basics. I think this would be a great start to remind me of the important things about my tool and hopefully get me excited about losing again. I am starting this tomorrow and would love other to join.
Breaking Plateaus:
Do this for 10 days to break plateau
1) Drink 2 quarts of water a day
2) You must have 45 grams of protein supplement and all your vitamin & mineral supplements each day
3) you may consume up to 3 oz. of the following high-protein foods, 5 times a day:
? beef
? pork
? chicken
? turkey
? lamb
? fish
? eggs
? low-fat cheese
? cottage cheese
? plain yogurt or artificially sweetened
? peanut butter
? beans/legumes
You may also have:
? sugar free Popsicles
? tea or coffee
? sugar free sodas
? sugar free Jell-O
? broths and bullions
? Crystal Lite drinks
4) IF IT IS NOT ON THE LIST YOU CANNOT HAVE IT FOR 10 DAYS
5) Keep a food diary and get up to 30 minutes of exercise daily.
