can i request some prayers from my buddies here.....

HAD to go to the GYN today...due to a nasty pain i been experiencing in my left breast. I am fine when wearing my bra...but when im not in the bra i get a pretty intense shooting pain..... SO far there seems to be no lumps, no swollen lympho nodes....but going to have a mamogram and breast sonogram on MONDAY....send some positive prayers my way that this is all nothing. THANKS guys ...feels good to just vent among friends, little bit stressful here! So send some prayers that my testing continues to bring good news that its nothing serious. AND to top it off i bashed my pinkie toe on the wooden train table in my daycare center today and its pretty pained and bruised...i have no idea how im gonna get my foot in a shoe this weekend and i have a barmitvah to attend......***MORE SIGHS***** THANKS LISA

Funny Lisa, I had the same experience. I never heard anyone else complain of it. Just in the left also. It was a shooting pain. My PCP told me it was from changes in my size. Funny part is that after all that time, it has gone away since losing weight. Hope yours turns out to be the same. Sara

Lisa, Are you on the pill? I have not experienced it recently, but I have had bouts with shooting pains in my breasts in the past - it was hormone related. Different BC pill - all better. Just a thought. In any event, you have my thoughts and prayers, as requested! Nicole

OH sara really? same type thing.... I aske the GYN if this was cause i lost so much weight, he said could be but wants to check into things also..... ITS sooo annoying and weird, nice to here someone else had such a pain too. THANKS for sharing..... im finally getting healthy and then get this its scary thanks lisa

NO im not on any birth control pills at this time. ANY time they put me on it....brings my blood pressure up dangerously high.... thanks for the thoughts still can be hormones they do go wacky during rapid weight loss and with 133 lbs gone who knows thanks for the reply lisa

Same thing happened to me a month back and went to 3 doctors and nothing was found, even slept in a bra to prevent the pain. Was worse on bending over without a bra on. Well it does stop but takes a month or maybe a little more but it does go away, That is not saying that losing more weight it will not happen again. Lisa, prayers and hugs coming your way. Hopefully this is just the weird pains many of us feel. I'm the same way in regard to wearing a bra, I get these odd pains moreoften when I'm not wearing one. Good vibes headed your way. PS I thought everyone had these pains, LOL

Oh Lisa, what a rough day. Hopefully, those shooting pains are just from the weight loss. Maybe it's because the *girls* are hanging differently and that puts pressure on a different nerve...or maybe there's less padding around the nerves.... i know i've had shooting pains in mine when my hormones get out of whack and my breasts swell. I am certainly sending up positive prayers for you to be in perfect health. oUCH... just hearing about your toe makes mine hurt! Make sure you ice that toe and maybe use some aspercreme on it to get as much swelling out of it as possible. I hope you have a blast at the barmitzvah!! hugs, Pam

Good luck Lisa! You have my prayers. You know, I feel like everything is going to be perfect. My sister has breast cancer, it was discovered a couple of months ago. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy after a lumpectomy. She never had ANY pain. So, that should be a good sign for you, no? Hugs!!! Jo
