Hey everybody-
It's time for me to brag a little - OK, a lot. I just got back the results from all of my blood work, and the doc's only comment was EXCELLENT!
Iron, B levels, cholesterol, glucose, BP, even my CA-125 (Cancer Antigen level) was well within the normal range. I had been a little nervous, so now I'm just so EXCITED!
I've got about 18 lbs to go to MY goal weight, and I have an appointment with the Bariatric doc on the 14th. I probably won't be much closer to my goal, but I expect him to not fuss at me this time! Now that I'm "normal" (how misleading is that!?), I'm definitly enjoying finding spring outfits that accentuate my refound figure (round really isn't a shape in this context, despite my protests for the last 10 years).
Yall keep up the good work. I'm keeping up with all of you regulars, even if I'm not participating so much anymore. Anyway, let me resume lurking - Back to your regularly scheduled program...

Thanks for the support, Lisa.
I take a daily sublingual B-complex (in the a.m. while I put on make-up), 2 chewable kids' multi's plus iron twice a day after eating (4 total; twice the recommended adult dosage), and I'm supposed to take two Caltrate plus D (separately, after food). I haven't done as well with the calcium, probably because I can tell if I miss the B or multi-vitamin. I feel a little weak/less enthusiastic about little things like walking down to the copy machine, much less exercising if I miss more than one day. I don't drink anything for at least 1/2 hour after taking any of them so they have a chance to absorb.
I keep a bottle of multi's in my van so that I can pop a couple after lunch or if I'm eating a snack. I've been the banana queen here lately! Probably the other reason I forget the calcium so often. That's what I'm rededicating to right now. I drink way too much coffee to not replinish the calcium!
I really think that spreading out the supplements help a ton. A regular system can only absorb so much calcium or iron at a time, and they can't be taken together...
Anyway, I hope this helps - you're probably doing everything I am!
I really do appreciate everyone's enthusiastic responses! NO ONE else in the world understands how important those test results are like you Junies!
