Having a face lift in 21 days

Went to the surgeon and had my consult. The 22nd of March, I am having a brow lift, upper eye lift, S - lower face lift and lipo and neck tightening. Yea, no more looking like a sharpee or bassett hound. Hard to believe how much sagging on my jowls I have. My second step in the new me. Have an appt for the 20th for my lower body lift consult but will have to wait to see what insurance says or if I have to self pay ugh!!! If it is self pay it will be awhile. My face is really getting my spirits down, I look like my mother did in her 70's maybe worse. Boy that extra weight just reaks havoc on your body in more ways than one. My doctor doesn't want me losing anymore weight but I think I need to lose about 20 more pounds. I am in a 10 and am 5' 5" but to me I look heavy still but my sister, husband, kids and doctor say stop. I guess we all see ourselves different. Don't know if I will try to stop but if it stops on its own I would be satisfied, I think? Hope all is going great for all of you. I leave for my cruise this Saturday, Cayman Islands here I come. Deloris, Hun that is great and congrats, I hope it all goes great for you ~hugs~ Please just keep us posted. Enjoy your cruise as well, I can not wait to go on a real vacation. Now with getting the house it will be a while.... Debra P

that is so awesome, deloris! i bet you will feel so much better, i know how this sagging can get your spirits down. just 3 weeks away! i guess we don't have too much control on when we stop. i know the NP told me 13 lbs ago that i had lost enough. honestly, i don't do anything differently right now than i plan on doing for the rest of my life. so hopefully when my body is ready, it will tell me enough is enough! i hope you have a blast on your cruise and look forward to hearing all about it when you come home! hugs~mary jo

Deloris, Just looked at your profile. Honey, I hope you have a new picture coming on your posts because you look 20 years younger even at 6 months post!! I know, I am one to talk, I don't look like my picture anymore either, tee hee. I am working on it Tons of luck with your surgery, approvals etc. and have tons of fun on your cruise!! Hugs! Jo

Ooooooh Deloris!! Congratulations!! You are going to love the results! I have become a plastic surgery before and after Tivo addict! I love seeing the transformations. I'm so excited for you! Yea, my doc was happy with my weight also - and I want to lose 20 more as well. I hear the same from my family and friends and I can't help but wonder what it is they see, cuz I sure wish I could see it! Have a blast on that cruise!
