Hi everyone, I hope ever...

Hi everyone, I hope everyone is doing well and feeling good. Its my 8 month aniversary today. I have lost 114 lbs and am wearing a large or medium top and size 12 jeans. I wear mens jeans a lot and those are a size 31, down from a size 44. Its awesome. I have had a slow month in Feb only losing 3 lbs, but still have a week to go so maybe I can do better this week. I will try harder. I have taken up snowshoeing and I love it. I have a bad cold right now, but will get back out again soon. I feel so much better than I did 8 months ago. I am a happier and healthier woman. Congratualions to all of us for our huge accomplishments.

Carla - Happy anniversary! Look how far youve come in 8 months - way to go!

congrats, carla! you have done so well so far! 114lbs is pretty freaking awesome! and....granddaughters???? i would have definitely never thought that, would have most definitely thought those were your kids! they are beautiful! hugs~mary jo

Thank you Mary Jo, those two little girls are my pride and joy and a huge reason I decided to have this surgery. I wanted to do things with them, that I didnt get to do with my kids. Its so fun.

Thanks Kerri. My two grandaughters and my parents have also been sick so it was bound to get to me sooner or later..I just hope it doesnt last too long.

WOW Carla! 114 pounds is AWESOME! That's so cool you started snowshoeing! We very rarely get snow here...and when we do, it's not anything you can snowshoe in. That's so neat. I always wanted to try that! Congratulations on your success!! Pam

Thank you Pam.We get tons of snow here and it is fun. I would never have dreamed of doing it though before the surgery. I am so happy I had it done
