Finally hit the 100 pound mark

I had my surgery on 6/28/05 and finally hit the 100 pounds lost mark......I was so excited I just had to share........Lori Springer

Congratulations Lori!!! I am very happy for you. It is a wonderful feeling to accomplish this much. I am so excited about clothes, and all of the wonderful things I have been able to do losing weight. I took a walk with a friend today who is at her highest weight. We had gone just 1 1/2 blocks and she was exhausted and asked me to slow down. I didn't even realize I was going fast! That used to be me. I hope for her sake that she can get here too, it feels so good. Of course, I slowed way down, my intent wasn't to make her uncomfortable, so the rest of the way was fine for her. But, it reminded me how far I've come. I know you are in the same place I am, things are getting so much easier!!! You go girl!!! Jo

Welcome to the Century Club Lori!!!!! I remember how exciting it was when I hit 100 lbs - it feels terrific, doesnt it? You and I share the same surgery date - nice to meet you! Continued success on your journey - keep us posted!
