CHIP...HOW ARE YA?

chip had his hernia repair on thursday and should have come home on friday. i know we ll said our prayers for him for a speedy recovery! so...where are ya chip? how are you feeling? i hope everything went well and you will be back on your feet soon! hugs~mary jo

Mary Jo, I came home on Saturday but was in some pretty serious pain until yesterday afternoon. I woke up on Monday with a BAD case of gout and had to go to the ER. (in the past It happens when I lose 10lbs or more so I'm hoping that is the case again). Anyway they gave me a more powerful pain killer and some steriods for the gout and it worked like magic. I feel like I could run the boston marathon. I can't wait to get back to the gym and even to work but will have to wait till next week. I see the surgeon of Friday so I'll see how much weigh I lost if any. Thanks for checking on me, Chip
