I THINK I MAY HAVE DONE IT!
wow sue! 2.5 lbs, that is so awesome, you will be there soooo soon! unless you want to wait for me, that's cool, too.
i can totally relate to what you are saying. first we worry, will we get to goal? now that i am so close, i worry about not being able to stop losing. and then, i worry so much about regaining that i think i will just continue to lose. they say maintaining is the hardest part and i have to say i think they are right. this will be the hardest part of this journey for me, once i reach goal. but i think i have had psychological issues with this since the very beginning. we shall see...
congrats on being so close to goal!
hugsssssssss
Congratulations Honey!!
You are doing great! I want both you and Sue to know that I greatly increased my calories over the last few months and I am still losing just fine-no slower than I ever did. It is the protein, pouch rules, etc. that you need to worry about. You will lose weight all the way up to your BMR (basal metabolic rate). Mine is 1250 cals according to the doctor who measured me and mine is slow! So I will still lose weight if I eat that much!!! So, don't be afraid to eat when you get to goal as long as you are eating the healthy recommended foods, eat at or under your BMR and following the pouch rules, you won't gain weight! Eating enough calories is also important for your health. Jo
thanks jo! makes me feel a little better. you always seem to have a lot fo good info. maybe i should make an appt with the nutritionist. i don't know anything about BMR. on thinnerself.com, it says my current BMR is 1350? not sure if that is right or even what that means, but might be a conversation the nutritionist could help with.
