Can anyone tell me how to get there? I was hoping to find it before the 6/7 month slow down, but I missed it. I must have made a wrong turn somewhere. Don't get me wrong, I am extremely happy with my weight loss and making it to the century club. But, it sure would be nice to be in Onederland. Sharyn 307/202/148

Sharyn, Patience is the key here, you have a long time yet to lose and you are going to... Your body needs to do what it needs to do... Sometimes it just needs to adjust. Don't let your goals rule you, let them guide you. This is going to happen for you and for all of us Hugs! Jo

Thanks Jo, I need to remember that. I keep letting my goals rule me. I forget that I'm in charge!

Hi Sharyn! We seem to have about the same starting weight and goal. (Me starting weight 306 to goal 150.) Getting below 200 was a huge goal for me too and you'll get there soon enough. One major thing I did about a month before I entered onederland was add some really intensive cardio to my workout plan (which has always included weights and treadmill or elliptical.) I started riding my bike again and ride for about an hour on some really tough hills. When I first started this, I lost 3 pounds overnight each time I rode. Now it's no weight loss to about half a pound each time. But it really adds up. This workout is REALLY hard and I won't do the hard trail more than once a week. I try to get a second easier bike ride in, plus weight training and sculpting classes. Recently someone on this board mentioned that she went up to 100g protein per a doctor's advice and the pounds started coming off again. I tried that too -- now 4 scoops protein power/drink per day -- and I've lost 3 pounds over the previous three days. I'm now at 181 and now 31 pounds away from goal. Good luck on your march toward health and smaller sizes! Kim

I increased my protein last week, I think that is beginning to help me. I definately need to exercise more. But with 2 jobs, it's a little hard. I'm thining of switching from walking to jogging (did I just say that?) to increase my intensity since I can't increase my time. Thanks everyone Sharyn

Hi Sharyn, I'm glad it seems to be helping. I increased my protein w/ an extra scoop last Thursday and have already lost five pounds. I hope you soon see similar results. I think the intensity increase sounds good. I read a lot of fitness magazines and a recommendation I've seen a lot is to do a workout of the same intensity one day then alternate it with interval training the next. For example, walk for 2 minutes, jog for 1, walk for 2, etc. The hills I bike ride on automatically give me interval training when I struggle to climb the hill and then glide all the way down. Good luck with your program! Kim SW 306 CW 179 GW 150

Sharyn, Like everyone said, it takes time and I know how excited I was to cross into Onerland and it seemed like it took forever as I wa watching it so close and wanted it soooo bad. When I backed off it seemed to just happen. I also hear something about increasing the protein to help you start to lose again so I will be trying that as well. I wish you all the best ~Hugs~ keep up posted! Debra P
