How many calories is everyone consuming? I am attempting to reduce my calorie intake while increasing my exercise. I can only manage it about 4 days of the week. Other days I find I can easily consume 1200 calories or more... and ya know what? While completing the fitday.com site... I noticed that my calorie intake should be no more than 1200 calories a day... if I want to maintain my goal weight.. Oh my gosh... how in the world am I going to be successful? I can eat that much NOW in the blink of an eye if I am no****ching. I want another RNY!!!!

Hi Fellow June Bug! My surgery was on 6/15/05. I stalled in mid-December and didn't lose another pound until last week. Surgery Date: 281 Today: 185 Looks like lots of us are experiencing the same stall. Boo-hoo!

my weight loss has slowed down significantly. i'm not very happy about it. it was still going down until the last 2 weeks when i've been unable to go to the gym. my gall bladder has gone bad and i'm having surgery to remove it on Wednesday. i haven't tracked my calories since the gall bladder trouble, because some days i can eat nothing, and other days i seem to eat too much. i look forward to being able to get back on a more normal schedule after surgery. i'll have to wait a week to go back to the gym, but i'm eagerly waiting for it. Oh i just love having all you guys to compare notes with. It has been very very slow for me as well... As a matter of fact i even go two pounds up every now and then. Depressing. Which doesn't help my eating LOL I find i am grazing more. But i have started to walk every morning at 6. Yeah for me. AMAZING actually. So i am hoping this will break my stall.

I have only lost 3 since the end of Dec. But the funny thing is I feel smaller in all of my clothes and more so than before the stall so I think that is kinda weird. I need to up my water that is one of my biggest problems. Current loss = 81

I know exactly how you feel. I started at 300 lbs and have only lost 80 lbs. I have found that since November the pounds are not coming off but that I am fitting into smaller and smaller clothes. So to me, that tells me we are doing something right. One of the first things the surgeon told me was not to go by the pounds I lost but to go by the size of my clothes. I am in a 16 now for the first time in God only knows how long so that makes me happy. Now if I can just get to the gym more frequently. I think I will start loosing pounds again. But you know, I am happy just loosing, weather it be inches or pounds!!!! have a good week! Shelley 298/214/130
