How do you "reward" yourself now?

I used to "reward" myself with nice meals at my favorite restaurants. I suppose that many of us pre-WLS also would reward ourselves with our favorite foods. Now the thought of Chicken Bryan at Carrabbas only gets a shrug out of me. When I shrank below the 200 pound mark, I rewarded myself with an exercise class card at Gold's Gym (to supplement the bare bones tiny gym membership I have now.) Now I'm thinking about what I should do when I reach my goal. I doubt I will need a new wardrobe--I have been buying "bargain basement" clothes for myself throughout the journey and I can get in many of my "old" clothes. I thinking maybe treating myself to a leather skirt or leather pants, which I've never given myself permission to have before. Or maybe I should have a nice professional photo taken. Or perhaps I could enter a bike race since I'm becoming semi-athletic. Decisions, decisions, argh! I could use some ideas and I'd love to hear what other people are thinking of. I have set goals too and think its a great idea. For 50 pounds off, I treated myself to a nice pair of earrings. 100 pounds off was a birthstone ring that I wear to the right of my wedding ring to remind myself of my committment to me. 150 goal, that I'm working on now, is that I'm going to buy a Vespa motorscooter. I hope to be there next summer. I will need a motorcycle license to drive this thing and I had to get my temps to test drive them last fall when I was about halfway there. The thrill of riding it is a memory that I use to motivate myself to get to the gym and through working out now. When I get there, look out world here I come! But I figure I have to do something extreme to celebrate - I will have lost a whole person! After I get to the 150 pound mark I will need to set a 200 pound goal and a 250 pound goal. And then there's my final goal. I haven't thought that far ahead as to what I want for those. Any ideas? Yours in pounds down, Jen 425/312/mini goal 300 -113

This was challenging for me too. Coming up with non food rewards. What I came up with for losing 100 lbs. is a day at the spa with my mom. Have not scheduled this yet, but we are going to have massages and facials and all that good stuff. I would also be interested in what everyone else is doing too. I have not thought far enough ahead to think of an awesome reward for reaching goal. I keep thinking I have so much time, but I cannot believe how fast I am losing. I have lost 111 lbs since 6/15/05. I am truly impressed with this surgery and everyone here. You are all so inspiring! Keep up the GOOD WORK!!! Laura 300/188.5/?

Bling - bling. Jewerly via eBay. Up until now in life, I haven't been a real jewerly person...but I think I've found something I really like...and at deep discounted prices if you find the right eBay sellers.
