I FINALLY FOUND THE COURAGE...

...to go buy a pair of jeans the next size down. mind you, i go to goodwill and look for stuff. money is tight, plus i find some good things there. well, i found a pair of MUDD jeans, size 7...and they fit! now the only thing that sucks is they are too long! they just say size 7, not tall, not regular. since i am 5'2'' and i sometimes do have this trouble of jeans being too long, should i be shopping for "short"? sounds like a stupid question, but i never did too much shopping before. where do i look for jeans for my short self??? hugs~mary jo

Hi Mary Jo! I am also 5'2"... I buy petite length. Look for the "P", I have found petite lengths in second hand stores, you just have to look a little harder. I usually don't recommend shortening jeans, it looses the look you want even if you have a tailor do it. Most stores you go to have a petite dept or have petites mixed in... Good luck! Jo

I just bought myself a pair of high heeled boots, and they really aren't so bad to walk in! Great deal on them, there was merchandise from the dept. stores cleared after Katrina at one of the malls, 75% off. I got a pair of $139.00 boots for about $35.00 So cool, but still needed the petite length jeans even with the high heels. Oh well... Jo

WOW! A SEVEN!! Girl, that is so awesome!! I think you are definitely a petite at a 5'2" - I can wear some petites at 5'5" but most of them are about an inch too short. Petites should be perfect for you! Wow...isn't it just awesome to go from morbidly obese to PETITE?!?! Hugs, Pam
