Hello fellow Juners ~Hugs~
I was wondering how much protein you all take in each day, I am about 600-800 most of the time. Back when I had my check up they said it should be around that but now that we are 7 months out how much do you take in?
I know eating to little or to much protein you will stop losing so I was just wondering...
Thanks for sharing ~hugs~

HEY debra...
im confused a drop by your post 600 - 800 grams?
PER my surgeon and his nutritionist my goal range in protein
is about 70 - 80 grams a day. I meet that sometimes shy
sometimes over.
MY blood work has been fine and my surgeon checks
protein levels when its done so i dont worry. I dont know
DONT know if i helped you any?

Oppsss I meant to say I am getting about 50-70 grams of protein a day and 600-800 claories... Dohhhhh...
Sorry
Debra P
personally I think ur protein is good ....
i think ur calories need to be higher to avoid
starvation mode where the body holds onto the
fat and u dont loose.
THATS why i think u see bigger losses at times
when ur eating more carbs....but still keeping
them down.
I tend to add calories in w/ butter, and not useing
lo fat mayo...and real dressings vs lo fat. JUSt a trick
i learned when following atkins.
I am slow looseing this month but i expected it !
FOR me when i see the slo down like i am this week
i get in my strawberries and nuts so im gonna try that
again this week. AS i said in the past does it help? i dont
know but everytime i try it my loss picked up again for me.
HANG in their
and i think you need your calories up a drop
just my thoughts.
but im not an expert!
GOOD LUCK

Lisa,
Yeah I might need to up them but it is hard to up them when you hit the limit on carbs and protein. I do like the idea of using real butter and all to add calories plus it is good for our skin and system. I will try to add more stuff like that to get the calories up some.
Thanks hun
