HMMm your in my prayers. HAVE you been checked for HEP C? that is normally a cause for elevated liver enzymes. IF they havent checked please have them run that on your bloods. GOOD LUCK! POSITIVE prayers sent your way lisa

Hi Lisa, They haven't done any further labs yet. I see a specialist on the 24th. I don't have any of the risk factors for Hepatitis C...but of course that doesn't mean a whole lot sometimes! I think it is nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. According to my research I have all the indicators for that. It can be harmless of if it progresses to the inflammatory stage it can progress to liver damage. Let's hope it stays harmless! Thanks for the prayers!!! Cindy

It's great that you are feeling so good! About the Liver Enzymes, have you tried taking Milk Thistle? This helps keep the Liver Enzymes under better control. I know many post-ops who do very well with this herbal suppliment. Give it a shot. Keetara 327/169/145

Hi Keetara, I haven't heard of that one! My surgeon suggested Vitamin E and some of my other research suggested betaine. I bought the E today and have ordered the betaine. Cindy
