I was just wondering how much everyone is eating at meal time? For me I cant eat a nother bite over one cup or less. One cup is pushing it for me. SOmetimes I can eat a cup and others I barely eat a half a cup of food. I guess it depends on what you are eating. So how much can you all eat?

Hi Brittany I can't quite eat a cup, and it depends largely on whether or not it's my fist meal of the day, what the food is, how fast I eat, and how much I've had to drink that day. Sharyn 307/206/148

I go by weight not volume. I try not to go over 4 oz. So I can eat a lot more (in volume) lettuce than beef. HW 250 SW 235 CW 177 GW 150?

it depends, i just had a cup and a half (loosely packed) of couscous, broccoli, and yellow squash. there is NO WAY i would be able to eat a cup and a half of chicken. the more dense the food, the less i can eat. the only reason i'm eating the coucous is i'm trying to increase my calorie intake, i'm not getting enough to eat it seems! Hi Holly, What exactly is couscous? I eat a lot of squash, zucchini, and onion (sauteed) and I LOVE it! I am also trying to up my calories, in otherwords, not lose anymore weight. Thanks! Wendy RNY 6/21/05 243/137.5/120?

Couscous is a type of pasta. It is little tiny pasta balls used in middle eastern and northern african foods. It replaces rice usually. Chip

It really depends on the type of food. Somethings I can eat a more or less of. You know, 3-4 oz normally does it for me. I never eat and drink at the same time. Remember, chew slow- your pouch will thank you! Renee'

Well, I think I am a total weirdo! I can eat quite a bit. I am really careful not to over do it, but since day one..well, actually, since around Month 2, I have been able to eat what I think is a normal size meal for a thin person. HA! I just realized how silly that sounds! Anyway, I thought the doctor didn't really do the surgery and it was all a dream. I can't complain. I am not yet 7 months out and have lost 108 pounds as of last check. I must be doing something right. I just have to wonder why it seems I can eat more than I thought I would be able to. Maybe I have adjusted to the new amount. I guess since I don't pre-measure my foods, I don't totally realize how much (or little) I am eating. You get that feeling that you just ate a horse, then it's hard to believe you only ate a little bit! HA! Before, when I felt like I ate a horse, it wasn't far from the truth! Ok, continued success to all! Rossana 334/226/???
