When I was younger and bigger I did some plus size runway modeling at local department stores, I couldn't go any further with it b/c I was too short (5' 8") that killed me!!! I love to shop and get a good price, I don't believe in paying a lot for my clothes asspecially now with the changing sizes! But, I shop at Sears!!!!! Rena Rowan does a line for sears that is great!!! Lots of silk sweaters and great prices!!!! Also, Anne Klein is doing a great line as well!!! Oh and LEVIS, I can fit into LEVIS and I get them there, b/c they are so much cheaper!!!! Trust me sweetie, you will make the 8's soon enough!!! Ilyssa 268/181/??? (I am now a size 16, shrinking out of 18)

But in tops I am wearing large & extra-larges. Its weird!!! Good luck and have fun shopping!!!! Ilyssa 268/181/??????

Hi all, I feel the exact same way as the rest of you. Only I was told to set a realistic goal for myself before I had surgery. I said 156 which was my pre baby weight 8 years ago. Now that I'm at 156, I won't stop until I'm at 126. That's my goal weight according to OBH. I'm in a size 8/10 now, but I still want to lose more. I know my biggest weakness right now is that money is tight and I had to cancel my membership at the gym, but I also know that things will pick up and I will get it back. In the mean time, I walk, alot. Well, at least 15 minutes 3 x's per day, but it just doesn't fulfill me like the work out does. I kind of got addicted to it, never thought I'd hear myself say that I miss the exercise. Other than, I also need to stay away from the salty carbs. My big no no, is gardetto's. i try to make it right by saying that at least a half cup has 3 grams of protien in it. I'm going to try to do better, it's a new year, I'll try my hardest, as will everyone else, I'm sure of it. Congrats on the weight loss everyone. Happy New Year! 239/156/126

Wow Penny, You are doing wonderful! I know it is hard not going to the gym, I haven't been able to afford it yet myself and I know if I would push myself to walk everyday I would be losing so much more! The salty carbs are definately bad!!!!! So bad, I didn't even mention them to my doctor, but he mentioned them to me!!!!! Your doing wonderful and you will get to your goal!! Best of luck! it has been 6 months since i had my surgery and my weight loss has really slowed down but today i retook my measurments ( did them befor surgery and again at 3 months ) and i have lost a lot of inches this last 3 months . so i am happy with that and am not worried about the weight loss right now. hopefully it will start coming off again . good luck
