This am MY scales showed a 100# wt. loss! The drs. scales shows an extra 5# loss but seeing it on my own scales was amazing! If I count my pre-op loss I'm down 125#. i feel so much better & am so much happier! Kathy O.

Hello and Happy New Year! I had my surgery on June 13, 2005 I am coming up on my 7 month anniversary. I started at 230 lbs with a co-mobitity of Diabetes. I now weigh 149 lbs, an 81 lb weight loss. Thank God. I feel great and have been told that I do not look so bad either. My son (he is 14) says I never knew you were so tiny mom. Everytime he says it, I feel like a million bucks. My husband can't keep his hands off of me, my daughter is jealous (which I wish I could change for her). I am getting ready to go see my family in North Carolina, who have not seen me since the surgery. It is going to be a blast of a week. I am really excited to see all of their reactions. I have 34 lbs to go to get to my final goal. I have gone from a size 26/28 and 3xs to 12 and 14Pettites. Holy crap, I never knew I would feel this wonderful. I finally fit in a sweatshirt that I purchased 19 years ago, and went on dates with my husband in, it is the only piece of clothing I kept from back in the day, and have always told my husband that some day I was gonna fit in it, and finally as of last night I do. Anyways I'm just rambling, sorry, I have not been on OH in a long time. I hope and pray that anyone reading this, is blessed with great success and happiness. If your about to have surgery remember to give all your worries to God and he will bring you through it all. Take care and have a blessed new year. Kemah
