SIX MONTHS TODAY

Hi Juners, Today is my six monther-versary and I am down 80 pounds. Pretty good for a 64 year old grandmother with VERY bad arthritis who cannot exercise and is undergoing radiation for breast cancer!!! I hope each of you has had or is having a Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah and that we all have an awesome 2006. Shalom, Betsy

Congratulations Betsy! Your weight loss is awesome. You have had both a momentous and difficult six months! I guess that is the way of life... My sister, who is 62 years old just underwent a lumpectomy and will start chemotherapy for breast CA on Jan. 6th. I was with her at the oncologist yesterday and it really hit me, what she will be going through... So, I can relate some to your journey. I wish you healing, peace, love and joy in the new year!! Jo

Thanks to you all for your good wishes. Other than extreme fatigue, I'm really doing quite well. I'm planning to spend New Year's Eve with my NJ daughter and 3 children, and then next Thursday, the 5th, I'm going to Chicago to see my other daughter and her 3 children.
