Has anyone else had this happen?

O.K. I've had a rotten Christmas, but I have gotten through it. Friday, while out Christmas shopping with my daughter, we stopped at Wendy's for lunch. I had chili b/c it's something I've tolerated well, and it's an easy, hot lunch. I developed food poisoning, and I think I've really pulled, strained, whatever something important with the hours of dry-heaving. I've had more pain the last few days than in the weeks after wls. Fortunately, my doc called in prescriptions for Darvecet (pain) and something to slow down the stomach spasms, but I'm really afraid of some real damage. I can only eat a couple of bites at a time, and I have to be very careful about what I eat. I'm basically back to a gooey diet. Yesterday afternoon was the first time I've eaten anything since Friday. The doc's office is closed this week, but he said he'd come in if I really needed him to. Right now I'm trying to let the strained muscles heal, but i'm afraid of hernias. I still can't stand or sit up straight! If anyone has any similar experience, or a suggestion about what I'm looking at, please let me know! Kristie
