Happy Holidays

Hey all my fellow Junebugs, Just wanted to pop in and wish everyone a wonderful holiday!!! I've been popping in from time to time and lurking just not posting. Glad to see everyone is doing well. I had my 6 month chek-up the other day. Labs are all good and I am down a total of 77lbs. I get frustrated sometimes when I realize I am a slower loser than most, but I just have to keep the faith that it will eventually come off. I had hoped to make the century club by the end of the year, guess I need to extend it. Shooting for my birthday in Feb. now. Finished my first semester of school last week. (I took a semester off 9 years ago....lol) Got 3 A's and made the Dean's List!!! Anyway, I am starting to babble..........Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday!!!! Lisa P.S. Zita girl where are you? I missed the party with all the Canadain cuties....who am I going to kiss for NYE now???? lol

Hey Lisa Girl! I have been lurking too for the past couple of weeks. Boy has my life changed! I am down 136, 98 more to go! We got a call from the adoption agency in November, her name is Amelia and she is 6 years old. After a few weeks of staying over on Friday nights and Sunday visits, the agency felt we were the best family for her. They moved her in last night. IT is the best Christmas present ever! Her mother's rights have been severed by the Canadian Court system (cuz she did not go into rehab and straighten out her life, so sad) so she is ours to keep. She is beautiful, looks like my hubby. Nothing wrong with her, just a child with a past that was turmoilous. So that is why I have not been around, been busy getting a room ready and Christmas prepared. I missed the parties too this year, I'll send you a pic of Amelia when I get the opportunity. Come to think of it, I need to update this ugly mug I have in the corner of this post, I look way different now! Have a great holiday! Z aka Silly.
