6 months and 1 day postop!
I had surgery June 15th, and I've lost 123 pounds!
Yay Me!
My weight loss has really slowed down the last month or so, which is a little frustrating. And I've "discovered" I can eat some things I shouldn't. I avoid it most of the time, though.
I feel tired alot, but my bloodwork is fine. I take my vitamins, and drink my water. i get in pretty good amounts of protein. I exercise 30 minutes to an hour daily. I think it may just be that I'm not eating quite enough. I'm trying lately to make sure I get in snacks and try to get my calories up around 750+
I've come so far, and I'm so impressed. I've gone from sizes that couldn't even be found at Lane Bryant, to a Lane Bryant 20 bottom and 22/24 top. I run up and down the stairs here at our new house a dozen or more times a day, and there is no way i would've done that preop... just getting the 5 steps into the house made my knees grind and hurt.
I look good, I feel good, life is good. Thank God for my surgeon and gastric bypass surgery!

Holly,
That is so wonderful!! I'm sending you the biggest hug ever!!
We have come so far. I find myself still peeping at the too big sizes.
I'm finally in a size 20.
It is really funny to see how much I have lost.
I know that I'm truly blessed and dont take this 2nd chance lightly.
Live each day to the fullest- never be afraid to try.
I wish you the very best!!

When I held up my new size 20 jeans I thought "this is WAYYY too small" but nope.. it fit!
I still wear a 22/24 shirt (the girls have shrunk, but not as much as it seems, i guess!) but even those shirts seem so small to me when i look at them. but i hold them up against me and realize.. this will actually fit!
Thanks for the hugs,
Holly
