Okay I've lived without feeling any hunger for almost six months and now all of a sudden in the last week I've begun to feel hunger again. It is not ravenous like it used to be and it is certainly not constant but at least once a day I now get hungry. The good news it that even though I'm hungry if I do eat I get FULL very quickly on very little food. I still need to make myself eat during most meal times. Has anyone else experience hunger again? I have my partner's family coming this weekend for an "early" Christmas so I have only been able to get to the gym one time. I feel like a lazy slob so I'm definately going this afternoon. I hope I haven't gained any weight by not going to they gym this week. Chip

Chip, I will be 6 months out next Thursday and never feel hungry. I can go till a full 24 hours without food and still lack a hungry feeling. I'm not complaining--I love it! I've been up since 5 AM and just at my breakfast 5 minutes ago (9:45 AM), because I forget to eat. I hope my hunger never returns!! Becky lap rny/6-22-05 281/206/155

It'll be OK Chip, I've had hunger since the beginning, but like you said, at least we can fill up fast. I also generally find that if I drink some water first the hunger lessens. Good luck and hope you have a nice early Christmas. HW 250 SW 235 CW 178 GW 150

Hey Chip! I started feeling it again about 2 months ago....but it's very random. Some days I don't feel it at all and I truly forget to eat or force myself to eat "on schedule." Then I have days where I feel RAVENOUS...but it only takes a few bites (thank the good Lord!) to fill me up. I got really scared when it first reappeared....like "Oh my God, this is the END of a GREAT thing!" but it hasn't affected anything. It doesn't make me eat more or eat things I shouldn't. So I guess I'm adjusting to the new response to an old feeling. I need to get my butt in gear too. I have been lazy with the gym....but heavy with the shopping...shopping counts, right? I'm going back to the gym tomorrow. Have a great time with the family!! Pam

i get hungry.... sometimes. It's not a regular thing, but today at lunch I was STARVING. I had breakfast (turkey and cheese rollup- 6am) and snack (whole wheat ritz crackers and melted muenster cheese- 10am) and by 1pm I was just plain ravenous. I ate a whole south beach frozen dinner I probably won't feel really hungry again today... or, I HOPE NOT! Holly

Yeah, well I've been getting hungry for the last 6 weeks or so, and when I am, I'm really hungry. But the last two weeks, with the cold, has come my winter eating monster. It's a comfort thing, but I want to eat hot foods (soup, chilli, etc.) all of the time! It's crazy! I hope it's just a passing phase, but it's making me crazy! But I'm not gaining any weight - not losing, but not gaining - so I'm not freaking out yet. It's miserable though, after not having to worry about it for so long. Kristie
