Slowed "Weigh" down.....
Happy Thanksgiving all. I am 5 1/2 mths. out and have lost 100 lbs. My health has improved 1000% and I am very happy with my results. Here's my question.....My weight loss has slowed waaay down. I know I need to excercise more and measure my food more often but.......has anyone stopped loosing at all after 6 months? I still have 100 more lbs to go. I started drinking the Profect vials today since I know I am not getting enough protein. Maybe that will help. Just wonderin' if I am done loosing weight. Thanks for your support. You guys are great! You better not be done, cause I don't want to be done. You just need to trick your body a little. BTW, congrats on the BIG loss. After my initial stall, I have pieced together how to keep myself moving. If it looks like I'm slowing, then i don't eat or drink anything without at least 1 gram of potein in it. And, I eat a bag of peanuts at least twice a day. If i really slow down, I don't eat anything solid until I have 50 gms of protein in. It's just my little formula. But it seems to work for me. I just wish I had done it when I stalled after I lost 40 lbs, I lost a lot of time there, 2 weeks.

TERESA, FIRST OF ALL YOU ARE DOING FANTASTIC! I HOPE TO BE AT THE 100LB. MARK SOON MYSELF, I AM NOW AROUND 80. MY WEIGHT LOSS HAS DEFINATELY SLOWED DOWN, BUT I'M STILL NOT COMPLAINING. I TOO LOSE ABOUT 10-15LBS. A MONTH STILL. HAVE YOU KEPT UP WITH INCHES LOST? THAT CAN REALLY HELP YOU THROUGH THOSE SLOW TIMES. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, WE ALL KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GOING THROUGH. I am in the same boat as you. There were two weeks last month where I did not appear to lose a thing(I don't have a scale to fit me at home, so I really cant tell but the doc's office said no weight loss) so I just upped my walking and H20 and voila I lost almost 7 lbs in the last week.

Hope you had a wonderful holiday. Congratulations on the 100 pounds. I think all of us have slowed down but that is normal. I excercise alot but seem to be slow losing at times too. I walk 4 miles 4 x a week and do water aerobics 4 x a week and about 1 to 2 hours a week I do weight training. I have slowed down losing and it gets frustrating but then the next week it comes off again. I lose inches even if I don't loose pounds. You are doing great just keep it up and it will come off. Keep the protein up to over 70 grams aday. Good Luck
