I just wanted to say hi and give an update... i have been so busy with full time school and the five children that i havn't stopped by in a while. I am now at 258 and i started at 344 day before surgery so i am 86 lbs down and my surgery was June 13th. This last month the weight has seemed to creep off. But i have had such an energy issue that i have been eating more carbs and that has helped a lot but really slowed my weight loss. So i have to get back to my protein but it was nice to have more energy this month. Now that i have most of the halloween candy gone i can get better again. Funny thing is i was not much of a candy head before my surgery but it seems i crave it more now. Strange.

Hi PAULA great to see you stop by you seem to be doing great! CONGRATULATIONS on hyour weight loss sounds like its going great for you. YOU mention a lack of energy from lack of carbs... YOu sure your potassium and iron levels are fine they cause lack of energy. IF you find having more carbs does make you feel better try to get healthy carbs in your diet from veggies and fruits instead of bread, potatoes and rice. GOOD LUCK...im no expert just wanted to be helpful GOOD LUCK lisa
