Hi Y'all!!!
Sorry it's been forever, but I thought I'd just check in and see how everyone's doing? I FEEL WONDERFUL!!!!! I am down 70 pounds now and I'm finally below 200 for the first time in about 11 years!!!! I actually am starting to feel "normal". I got down to 199 and stayed there for about 2 weeks, but then it just started falling off again. So, those of you on a stall, don't freak out, your body's just resting for a minute.
Like y'all, my hair is falling out in clumps. Very charming! Thankfully, my hair is so thick, only I can tell. Still, I'll be glad when it stops, which better be soon because I cannot afford a good wig.
I love the way I feel! My knees don't hurt anymore. When people stare at me now, it's not because I'm sooo fat! I actually had a man whistle at me! I was so surprised, I just stared at him! EVERYONE in my life is noticing now and making comments, which I'm just soaking up like a sponge. I have so much more energy, and I am just so glad that I had this surgery.
Meats are still pretty hard for me. I know I need more protein. Truth is, eating is a pain for me now. I wish I didn't have to eat. I am NEVER hungry, and when I eat, it's like a chore. I do it because I'm supposed to, but I really don't want to. Water, on the other hand, I LOVE. I drink all day long, and I'm still thirsty all the time. Still, I figure all this will work itself out as I get farther out from surgery and my stomach heals up more. I don't stress about it because I do feel really good most of the time, so I must be getting enough in, right?
Anyway, just wanted to let y'all know what's up. Glad to see everyone seems to be doing so great.
Talk at ya' later!!!!
Thats great that you have reached ONEDERLAND.. I have 15 more pounds till then and I cant wait. That is a huge milestone for you and for all of us once we get there..I have no trouble with meats or much of anything for that matter. I dont eat any sweets or drink anything with caffiene, but other than that nothing has bothered me. Keep up the great work..I think this is so exciting, I am so glad I went through with this surgery and would recommend it to anyone that is thinking of it..
