I need a BIG booster shot!!!!
Hey guys..
I wonder if this is normal at 3 months out...well, 3 1/2..
I feel like I am straying from the program. I am working a lot of hours and I guess I just am not obsessing on this as much as I was before all the work kicked in. Maybe that's it..anyway, I am doing well. I just don't feel that GUSTO I had. Can I just be that used to it????
I make sure I drink a botle of water each day before I eat anything. I have a history of not drinking enough water..so I am trying these little tricks on myself. I know I get enough protien each day. I have been having a few hard pretzels at nigh****ching TV. I got carried away one night, but now I take only a few from the bag and leave the rest in the kitchen for "safe keeping".
I also feel that I eat too much. I wonder if I would be getting sick if I eat too much. I think I would..that's what I've heard. I don't get sick. I just think I eat more that I used to. UGH. I know I am rambling. sorry! I just feel that something is wrong. I can eat everything. I have had sweets..like a VERY small piece of cake on a birthday... a few times. No problem. Though, I must say, I generally elect not to do so. I know I am doing mostly the right thing, but I can't shake this feeling that something isn't right. Maybe I just still don't believe it's working.
Can you say something to me that will jump start me again? A BIG boost? Thanks guys!!

OH...can i relate to your post big time.
I feel i eat to much.....
sometimes i feel i have eaten all day long.
I eat some pretzels, soy nuts, string cheeses.
I havent lost weight in almost a week so i get
worried of the same.
I think at this time we are supposed see an increased
appetite. I thought this increase was because i am working out
at the gym alot now going 4 times a week....
BUT seems a normal.
GUESS i better monitor better if the scale dont work.
GOOD LUCK!
I think we are getting to comft with our losses.
ANd better buckle down a bit!

Dear Rosanna,
74 pounds in 3 1/2 months is awesome. In the same amount of time I have lost 50 pounds. My "problem" is that I am NEVER hungry. This week was Holy Days week and I ALWAYS gained several pounds cause I love all that wonderful Jewish food and I am an excellent LOL cook and a wonderful eater. This year, however, I ate barely enough to keep a bird alive.......but I just wasn't hungry. I am also having difficulty getting in all tha****er, but I feel good and had tons of positive reinforcement from my friends at synagogue who hadn't seen me in a while.
Just keep doing whatever it is that helped you lose 74 pounds and remember............you never lost 74 pounds in 3 months before, did you???
GOOD LUCK to you.
Betsy
Rossana,
I think you are doing great. Your weight loss is excellent. There are lots of people who try a "little something", don't be so hard on yourself. The nurse I saw at my surgeon's office last time impressed on me that this is the 6 months in my life that I will have the most optimal weight loss and that I should take advantage of it... That really helped me to get perspective, I stopped trying foods with fats and sugars and really started to keep track of things on FitDay.com Take advantage of this time, re-read your pouch rules and if you goof up now and then, so what!!! We are human!!! ((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))
