I'm back home, hoping for good.

I am home in LA now ya'll. Slidell is still a work in progress and I foresee it taking years to get it back like it use to be but it feels good to be home. I am still out of work, but my company is now saying they feel they will reopen here, but it will take a few months. Things are going okay. We are just really tired, cuz we have had to do so much, but in all, feel blessed. I did lose 20 lbs this last month, thanks to Katrina. And am 5 lbs away from losing 100lbs (before and after surgery) since 4-8-05. I am thrilled. And this will also have me in the 200s. My internet is working here. Yea!!!!! It was down yesterday. From what I have heard the electricity, phones, cable etc goes up and down still. But I will post as much as I can now that I am home.

Hi Kelli Jo, Welcome back home! Sorry for your difficult situation. There is no place like home tho. Congrats on the 20 lb wgt. loss this past month. A little blessing in spite of the losses. It must be a boost in your morale, yeah for you!!! Those 5 lbs till you make the century club will drop in no time. You will be in our prayers for all the work and adjustment you face and for peace and comfort to your heart since the trauma you have been thru. Thanks Lisa. Well it was wishful thinking. My net has been down since Friday now. I may try one of those free dial up things, but everytime I do that it screws up my cable thing. I dunno. Plus I have to keep my home line open for Fema, as they keep saying they can't reach my cell. Thanks again and congrats on your loss. I am now at 300, one pound to go till I hit 100 lbs gone.
