Old Navy

It amazes me everyday the little things that I was missing out on. But I found something today that I thought was cool. I went into Old Navy today just to help my other half to find an outfit for a funeral. In doing so, for kicks and giggles, I tried on a large shirt and size 14 pants...and to my amazement they fit. I didn't have to stretch out the shirt before putting it on and I didn't have to 'suck in' to put on the pants. I cannot remember for the life of me when the last time I did either...I think it was high school and I will be 33 next week. I could just cry when I think of where I was. I am an EMT and I have elderly overweight patients every day. They are part of the reason I had this surgery. I don't regret what I did at all. Don't get me wrong--I don't like the flaccid skin and all, but just for the fact that I went into a REGULAR store today and put on REGULAR sizes made it all worth it. Lane Bryant can kiss my A**!!!!!!! I have spent what feels like a lifetime paying an extra 20 dollars for a couple more inches of material...I am NEVER going back there again. Congratulations to you all for your weight loss...no one will understand unless they have been there and that is what this message board is all about! -Cheri

You go girl! How wonderful. I love it. I can't wait to get into a 14 I also had a fun experience yesterday. Went in to Burlington Coat Factory to look at winter jackets just for the heck of it. All mine are WAY too big but since I am still losing I didn't want to spend much and wasn't too hopeful. I walked out with a beautiful jacket, size XL, zipped right up, for $44.00-all leather and with a waist no less. Great to get rid of my size 22-24's. It looks good and will get me through this MN winter, no problem. Hooray! Jo
