My First WOW Moment!

Holy Poop! It happened! My first WOW moment! In the grocery store last night after work, and I see a cute guy looking a little confused. He looks at me, I look at him, and he asks where he would find something. I tell him where to go and smile. (I am a friendly person) I turn around and there he is still standing there giving me the once over with a naughty look in his eye.... OH MY G*D, I am being checked out! So, I go about my business get my groceries and head out to my car. I start putting the groceries into my truck and I look up to spot that same guy sitting in the car across from mine. His window is open and he says "you would be even more beautiful if you smiled more". OK, I AM DYING at this point. So as I am getting into my car he is still there staring like there is no tomorrow. He asked me for my phone number, I flash him my wedding ring and he has the never to say "happily?". So we chatted for a minute and I went on my merry way. WOW, in my entire life, I have NEVER had a guy ask me for my phone number. I must say I was definitely WOWED! BTW, this all happened on the anniversary of 13 weeks since surgery and officially being down 50lbs!

You go girl! Whoo Hoo! Things are looking up for us all. My husband said my butt looked really good in my daughters jeans yesterday! He hasn't said that in ages. So I know how you feel. Huggs to you! Keep up the good work! Even if you are married those looks from the outside world make us feel great inside!

Hey Tracie, Thanks so much! My husband hasn't really said anything other than my boobs are shrinking and wow you have lost a lot of weight. That doesn't make me feel good. A "wow you look great would be nice", but the cute boy yesterday was the ego boost I needed. Thanks again!

Congratulations to you...that is so cool...I keep hearing--wow your a** has really gone away - and the boob comment too (I guess I didn't realize how big the rear department was ). Just the ego boost you needed!!! -Cheri

Words can't describe how much I needed that ego boost. It was super important that the first WOW came from a stranger (I don't know why I felt that way, but I did) and it happened and he happened to be super cute! WOO HOO! for joy!
