221/167/???
I agree with you Mary Jo!! I had to have a little attitude adjustment a few days ago, I am sure we all go through that occasionally in this process but I am down a total of 55 lb as of this a.m. (40 since surgery), and I am thrilled. I added protein shakes and liquids and it seems to have been making a difference the past few days, I have been going down about a lb. a day for 3-4 days
Even if I wasn't though, with my new attitude, I am back to being so grateful for this opportunity! I started at 263, I am now at 208 and have 73 lbs to go before I reach my personal goal of 135 (I am only 5'3" so need to go a bit lower than most I think, we'll see how I look and feel when I get closer).
I am also grateful to all of you! Thank you to all of you and this week, most especially those who supported me through my blues.
Fondly from a big loser Jo
Jo,
I know where you are coming from! I started dieting last October....I am also 5'3" and my starting weight last year was 320. I am now down 135 pounds! 63 since surgery! I had my first real wow moment when I tried size 12 pants on and could get them zipped and fastened! I wear a medium top from a 3-4X top and a tight 32 pants to 12's now!
We all need to just follow the rules of the pouch and be healthy!
Good luck you loser!
Sue
I agree with you also. I am really proud of myself for getting the surgery. Not only have I lost 53 lbs but 18 medication are no longer needed. And no more sleeping on a breathing machine. It is all worth it and I would do it again in a minute. You all are doing great. I think we all are. Hugs to all.

309/235/135(I hope)
WHERE all getting healthy and thats wonderful.
I am not happy where i am actually last time
I lost weight i looked better at this size then
now. BUT this is now after a baby (he's only 2.5
so its not alot of years).
ITS hard, I try to stay positive. I have started going
back to the gym and i hope that tones me up more
now, cause i need it.
I guess all together post and pre op im at 85 lbs gone
which is a good number. CLOTHES are falling off me
but in the mirror i still see me huge and get unhappy
at times.
ILL just keeping plugging along and i know this tool will
help me achieve my goals

Lisa,
I feel the same way when I look in the mirror. Not too bad with clothes on but when they are off....I look like a deflated balloon!
I do walk about 5 miles a day so feel that is a big help to me but know that I will need surgery to take away the excess skin.
I guess for me it is one step at a time....one day at a time....heck..sometimes it's a moment at a time.
Good luck and congratulations on your 85 pounds!
Sue
Yes! I am such a happy little junebug!
I have lost 50 lbs exactly, with 7 of those pounds coming from my liquid pre-op diet that lasted 1 week before surgery.
I feel so much better, it is funny how just 50 lbs lost has made me feel so much better. I have a ton more energy and I can move so much better now! And my face has cleared up a lot too. I am now under 200 lbs, Onderland! But I am just barely 4 lbs under, and I fluctuated between 199.6-200.2 for a wee****il I just started dropping down steadily again this week. I haven't been this weight since I graduated high school, which was only 6 years ago but still!
I have had a few stalls, but I think it is just going to be the way it is, I am not going to be a consistent loser. It seems like I will lose .5-1 lb per day for a week and a half then not lose anything for 2-3 weeks. Ugh. But I am very very very very very happy I did this.
