Small Victory for this June Bug!
Well i just went through my closet and tried on the clothes i have been saving (some for 15 years) and actually fit most of them. The ones that don't fit i am like 15 lbs away from wearing. That makes me so very happy. I did not think i would see the day. I have now lost 65 lbs and over 40 inches and have a whole new wardrobe that i am excited about. YEAH!!!
Now i just have to stop being such a tight wad and throw away the comfy things i wear now. No one will ever notice my weight loss if i keep hiding my body behind baggy clothes.
I am only 24 lbs from weighing what i did when i was 14 years old. I am 33 now. And 14 would have been the only other time i weighed that. Sad but true. but now i have a new short term goal to shoot for.
Just thought i would share, thanks so much for all of your encouragement.

I am so very happy for you! I too feel good today for getting into smaller clothes. Doesn't it feel great? Yeah, get rid of those too big clothes, you never, ever need them again and trust me, it feels good to say good-bye 
Like my sister told me today though, keep one pair of your biggest item so you can hold it up and take your picture when you are slim and beautiful Isn't it wonderful to have this site? I really appreciate the support from everyone. No one understands us like these folks do! Best wishes! Jo

I am happy for you! I bought a size 22 the other day and about lost it in the store- the new me feels great.

Isn't that just the BEST feeling?? I've also been getting in to some clothes I've saved for 15 years -- some MORE!!! I packed up all of my winter clothes and took them to my mom when I went to the hospital for my surgery. I KNEW I would not be able to wear them this winter!! Funny thing is that now she it trying her hardest to believe that some of them I should have hung on to!!! Since she hasn't actually SEEN me since the end of June -- and I've lost more than 40 pounds since then -- she's having a tough time believing how much smaller I've gotten!!! LOL!!! She'll be in for a huge surprise when she sees me and realizes that I really am smaller than her for the first time in like forEVER!!! LOL!!! I've lost 60 pounds so far, and have no idea when we're gonna get together. They live 4 hours away, and since I'm having car trouble, and have no $$ to pay for a trip home, it'll be interesting to see just how much I will have lost by the time she sees me next!!
