Awwww MARY JO.... The kids love us big and small and dont see us with weight problems. MY 8 year old doesnt see the changes in me but my daughter does and always tells me how good i been looking. YOU have definitely thinned out in the neck and face ALOT! THE picture shows huge success. KIDS are soo cute! LISA

Aren't kids great?! I can see my youngest two looking at my pictures.... It would go like this.... Pic #1 (before) - Hey! That's you, mommy! Pic #2 (after) - Hey! That's you too, mommy! It's like, all they know is that is YOU!! They love you so much they just don't see what we see in ourselves. Now my teenagers are a different story...they tip-toed around my weight gain...avoided the subject all together. BUT if I were to wear something that made me look bigger, they would SPEAK UP!!! Since I've had the surgery, they still don't say much....but every once in a while, one of them will come up behind me ...stand there for a minute like they're looking at a stranger...then say "Wow Mom...you've really lost a lot of weight!" This always takes me by surprise because I don't feel like I've lost alot of weight or like I look very much different.

My Husband taught my 3 year old son to call me "Skinny Mommy." Some how it kind of annoys me as I have only lost 45 so far and seem to be on a plateau. I did just get back to "normal" after having my 1yr old... So maybe it has more to do with water weight...
