I am trying to get some insight on these foods- beef and thin crust pizza? What are some great healthy snack ideas?

I have tried both. I have had no problems. But I am starting to think I am a rare case. I have to watch everything I eat because I have never been sick and can tolerate everything. The only thing I haven't tried is anything with sugar. I refuse to find out how I react to it. I'm afraid I will tolerate it! For snacks, I have either some fruit or nuts or beef jerky or turkey jerky(I prefer turkey because there is more protein). I am not too much of a snacker though. Just be aware of what you are eating and how healthy it really is. Have a great week. Shelley 298/247.5/130ish

I had canned beef when on pureed, and once on soft, beef from beef and broccolli when eating out, have had ground beef, fajita beef, the meat from inside tacos.... Good luck....haven't tried any kind of pizza yet, mostly sticking to meat and a few veggies.

I have had hamburger in chili, but no steak or roast. I was also told no pork for the first few months. Mari

Shelley, I'm so happy you have posted. I have also never gotten sick and have tried everything except sugar. I will never eat sugar again. i feel like I'm a freak of WLS. I have felt nausiated only two times once with rice and once when I had bannanas which I later learned were glazed with some sugar but have never gotten sick. I have no trouble getting in all of my protien and at times fear I'm eating too much but I am still losing and at last count I was 74lbs down in two months. I eat till I'm full (usually 3oz). I'm so glad to hear there are others like me out there. Chip Chip

Pizza has been ok for me. When i get it for the husband and kids i will snag a peice. My favorite is the thin and crispy form pizza hut. There is no grease on the crust and the crust is almost like a cracker it is so thin. I get the supreme so i get some vegetables with my meat. I have had no troubles with that. Pizza that is too thick of crust i peel the top off and roll it up. I don't do much bread. The thing with beef for me is moisture. If is is really moist i do fine. I cut it into small peices and cehw it well. I apit out any sort of grissle that can be in it. I am afraid that will clog my opening. Paula
