Hello June 2005'ers

My name is Heather and my surgery was June 17th. I have lost 53lbs so far and I am feeling pretty good. I had the surgery in MN but recently moved to OH due to my mother being ill with cancer. I am looking for a doctor to do my follow up appointment and I will need a dietitian also. My mother and my sister have each had the open bypass done, and they are my only support group right now. They had a general surgon who I feel can not be my doctor. So I am looking for a bariatric surgeon/support group. I hope to meet some of you and discuss what we all are going through. Take care! Heather, Try Dr. Trace Curry. His practice is at Deaconess Hospital in Cincinnati. He seems to have quite a following! You could also ask on the Ohio message board. Dr. Curry is very active on the message board and will probably see you post! I do hope that your mom is okay! Sue
