Just found you!

Hi Everyone, I have been spending way too much time everyday since my surgery at this website, but it wasnt until yesterday that I found this messageboard. I really enjoyed reading everyones posts its nice to see how others are doing that have the same surgery month as me. I can see that others are experiencing the same joys and woos as me. I am 8 weeks out and I have lost 40lbs. I seem to go in stops and starts. But I am grateful for the 40lbs. I just wanted to introduce myself and say Hi. Lynn

Welcome Lynn! I am glad you found us! I had surgery June 15th and with the 15 lbs loss just before surgery, have lost 43 lbs. I am very happy with that, grateful that I am on the losing side, knowing that I am going to loose a lot more and if I keep my eyes on the prize, I'll get to my goal. It really helps me to read where others are that had surgery around the same time. Even when others are doing better with the weight loss, I just tell myself that I will keep losing too so no worries So, hi and glad you are here! Jo

HI LYNN!!! Welcome to the JUNE room! SO GLAD YOU just found us and posted!!! We have something in common i run a family daycare in my home too!!! HOW NEAT. I had my surgery june 1 and with my pre and post weight im at 72 lbs gone forever! ITS awesome! LISA

Hi Lynn! Welcome aboard! I'm glad you found us! I love this board, too. Sometimes, I get answers to questions before I have to ask them, just by lurking. Mostly, I find some peace of mind in knowing that others are right there in the same boat with me. Hope you get the same from it, too!!!
