Kids meals...

I just got back from Wisconsin and we went out to eat a couple times. I ordered full portions and didnt even come close to eating a quarter if it. I had my sister take the rest home so it didnt get wasted. Does anyone go out and request Kids portions.? I heard you can get a card to show in the resturants. I heard some of the resturants lets you use it and some dont. I am so curious as to why they wouldnt let you.. that just doesnt make sense.

Well it's funny you posted this, I went out to eat with my cousin last night to Denny's and I knew I couldn't eat a regular sized meal so I asked the waitress for a kids menu and she says "you know you can't order off that menu" and before I left home I printed out one of those restaurant cards ( something was telling me to) so I pulled it out BAM!! "here you go Miss" I said and she looked and read the card and said "oh ok honey" and let me order off the menu, but how about I could'nt find anything on the kids menu so I ended up ordering a regular sized me anyway, lol but it was nice to know that they were willing to honor my "cards" request

and where can we find these cards to bring? i would love to know. I havent been eating out to much yet but i am sure i will in good time! I have 3 small kids so i dont think they would know whats for me verses them....and i can share the kids meal with my two year old! THANKS LISA

Hi, Ask your doctor. I know my surgeon's office gives them out. There is someplace on this site to print them too. I think it's under Gallery. I am not sure, but snoop around! Good luck! Rossana

Hi Carla, I have ordered off of the kid's menu at Denny's, Mongolian BBQ and Ram's Horn. Ram's Horn was the only place that was difficult at first. I asked for the kid's menu and she said it was only for kids 11 and under. But once I explained surgery and said I had a card from my surgeon she gave me a kids menu. Lisa
