Nutritional supplements
Hi, I just wondered what supplements others are taking?
My Dr. has me take the following:
Multi-vitamin
B-12
Vit. C
Iron
Calcium Citrate
Ranitidine (1st month only)
In addition, I also take Biotin in the hopes that my hair won't all fall out. It's thin enough usually.
I have lost 28 lbs. as of my 5 week weigh-in. I wi**** were more, but I'm happy knowing that it is gone forever. I'm still in my regular clothes so I'm looking forward to losing about 27 more so I can fit my clothes that are packed up, lol.

I am taking a daily sub-lingual B-Complex, 2x recommended adult dosage of a multi vitamin with iron, and 2 Caltrate-D. I've thought about some of the other stuff, but my doctor doesn't really think the other stuff (Biotin) helps. It's all I can do to get down what I'm taking now. I know what you mean about the weight loss. I was down 24 lbs. at my 5 week check-up and have hit a plateau - the scale is only showing 5 more gone in the last two weeks. BUT everyone around says that they can see the difference. Maybe all of that walking is replacing some fat with a bit of muscle mass I sure hope so! Good Luck to you!

Hi Mari,
I am taking:
Actigall (for prevention of gall stones)
Natachew's (chewable prenatal vitamins) and no I am not pregnant....even the men in the program take them!
B-12 250 microgams
Viactiv 2 a day for calcium
Don't worry about the plateau....it happens to everyone!
Down 49 pounds since June 1st!

I am taking B-12 Sublingual 3 times per week, Flintstones chewables complete twice a day, Calcium Citrate (Citrate is supposed to better absorbed by the body) 500 mg twice a day (one morning, one night separated by at least 2 hours from the multivitamin for better absorption), Actigall twice a day (for 6 months to prevent gallstones). Colace twice a day.
