goals and milestones???
Hi Paula! I'm setting interim goals for myself -- I've lost 50 lbs to date -- when I get to 80 lbs lost -- I will weigh what I weighed after I lost the baby weight when my daughter was born -- when I reach 100 lbs lost -- I will weigh what I weighed at my wedding. If I reach 120 lbs lost -- I will be back to my college weight and 140 lb. weight loss will have me at high school weight. I'm not sure how practical those last two are so I'd like to lose at least 100 lbs but then I'm going to have to tune into my body to see what weight it can comfortably maintain! Hope this helps! Laurel
My goals are similar to Laurel's. I'm now down to the weight I was when I found out I was expecting my 6 year old. At 200, I will be the weight I was in college the second time; at 165, I got married and found out I was pregnant with my daughter; at 130, I graduated from Marine Corps boot camp; at 125, high school. I don't expect to get down that far, mostly because it took some very unhealthy strategies to maintain that back then. But I kind of look at the milestones as reversing aging. I feel better than the last time I was at this weight...so it can only get better and better. Eventually this plateau will give up!
