I made some milestones.....almost 2 months out
I am so happy at the milestones i see daily from my 2 months post op. I can :
1. CROSS MY LEGS when sitting
2. I fit behind the steering wheel of my mini van (with lots of room)
3. Fit into my first XL sized piece of clothing
4. More energy to play with my kids
5. My daughters arms reach around me and touch in the back
6. For the first time in my life i dont finish all the food i eat. WOW
7. More room on my lap for my two year old to sit
and im sure there are more i forgot. WHAT have you noticed in the time your post op.......?
LISA
That is so awesome!!! You are doing wonderful.
I have made a couple myself.
My sister is getting married next July and we went dress shopping.... I was in a tight 26 at the beginning of this and now was able to get into an 18 top and 20 bottom!!! So exciting. It is almost unbelievable. I could get into the 18 skirt but couldn't get it zipped yet.
I have also noticed that I am not really a 42DD....more like a 36B! If I could loose the bottom as fast as I did the top that would be awesome.
I have learned I really should have kept my Cavalier and don't really need a Trailblazer! They aren't as small as I really thought they were, it was just me!
I learned the Kingsize bed really isn't so small and that I really don't need all that room....there's enough room now for four people on the bed!!!
That's just to name a few. I am so glad I had this surgery done, I would do it all again!!

WOW shelly that is awesome! I am looseing far more on my top then bottom. I havent gone out bra shopping but the bras im wearing are big now...and on the smallest notches not like before with major bra bulge.
its also so cool your drop in sizes for the wedding dress! TO COOL!!!
HEY JONI! YOU brought another one to my mind is im not wakeing several times a night to go PEEEEEEEEEEEee!!!!! So my sleep at night is far better too!
LISA
Lisa,
You are doing SO great! Great milestones!! Wow, I can't wait to be able to cross my legs again...
I have noticed more energy...
I "feel" lighter on my feet
There's more room in my chair at work
My husband is putting his hands on me a LOT more
My eyes are still bigger than my stomach...I go to the salad bar at lunch and get 2 TBSP cottage cheese, some cheese cubes and turkey cubes...and I always end up eating half of it. I've got it down to a 98cent salad and it's still too big!
I can smell sugar a mile away and it repulses me, where before I would have followed the smell to it's origin and ate it.
People who hug me are closer now
I can sleep straight through the night, too!
I went from 22/24 to 18's
I have ONE chin
My shoes are getting too big
and I can't think of anything else right now....but I'm anxious for MORE!!
Keep up the good work, Lisa...You are kickin butt, girl!!!
((hugs))
Pam
You know, I have never even thought of any of thoes milestones.. I have to start to pay attention more..
I do know my clothes are bigger and I can fit in smaller sizes, I dont have to raise the steering wheel in my mustang any more. I have lots more energy, compared to before the surgery. I guess thats a few things and I am sure there are lots more..
I can walk up stairs without feeling like I'm going to have an asthma attack.
I can run alot quicker while playing softball.
I have a hell of a lot more energy.
I can wear my rings on the right fingers now
And finally, when I put my jeans on, I can pull them up. button and zip them, and still breathe, and they look good, not like their painted on!lol
Very impressive Lisa. I can't wait until I can cross my legs.
1. My sister says she can now see my face again. That is where I have lost the most weight so far. Most of the puffiness is now gone along with the double chin.
2. Shaving my legs in the tub is MUCH easier than before.
3. My rear fits in my desk chair without pain. I've gotten bruises from the chair before. Ouch!
I'm most looking forward to fitting in movie theatre chairs without having to lift the arm - any chair with arms actually.
4. I'm able to wear a 28 in pants at Lane Bryant. I wasn't able to buy pants anywhere except Avenue until now. Yeah!!!
5. I'm not craving sweets anymore. Everything actually tastes too sweet. Shock!
