Well, it's been just over a month and I couldn't be happier....close to 40lbs gone and at least 3 sizes!...Thank goodness I used to keep all my old clothes! But I don't anymore! Still experimenting with different foods...meats are still a problem, but not if they are ground i.e. hamburgers, some sausage etc....my appetite is increasing slightly, but I'm completely satisfied with what I eat and when. Exercising every day...one hour in the pool.... Today is the best I've felt, pain-wise, but it's never been a problem, really.... Dr. Schmidt is my hero!

Wow!!! Sounds like you are doing really well! I am also 1 month out and doing pretty good. Have lost right about 30 lbs, but feel like the last few days haven't been losing much at all. Hoping it is just my body catching up or the PMS factor, but it is a little upsetting. Karen

Hi, my surgery was on 6/20. I have lost 25 lbs so far. I had hoped it would be more, but I got stuck on 285 for a few days. I think it was because I had been at that weight for a few years. Oh, well. I did really well all this time and felt lucky, but I started trying new soft foods this week (for a change from the pureed foods I had been eating) and now the vomiting has begun. Not fun. I started doing more exercise today, so I hope the increase will help with the loss. Or at least the vomiting will! Take care, Mari
