I am finnaly moving the scale
I just wanted to share with you all that for the last 2 consecutive days the scale has moved down.....THANK GOD! It had been over 2 weeks maybe even 3 weeks since I saw any movement. I was really scared. but it has moved again. I need to remember this when it happens again. But I wanted to thank you all for your support & keeping me from jumping off a bridge!
Wow! Our bodies must be on the same schedule!!! My scale didn't move for almost 3 weeks and then in the last 2 days it has gone down 8lbs!! This morning it said I was up 2 lbs so I have decided I am only going to weigh 2 times a week.
I think that since I have been able to finally start eating some food (pureed) it has helped my body to think I wasn't starving anymore.
I know about the bridge all too well. I have been hanging on to it by my little toe for the past few weeks! If it wasn't for the wonderful people here, I don't think I would have kept up the positive attitude. So for now, I will keep excercising and keep up the good eats!!!
Have a great week!
Shelley
'Hang in there. As long as we're doing what the doctors tell us and trying to keep to the schedule as best we can...the weight will come off.
Mine was coming off a little too fast the first few weeks (about 10 pounds a week) and this past week....barely moved down 2 pounds or so. I was a little sad when it did not move as fast...but then I remember that at least it's going in the right direction.
It's going to be a long road ahead. As long as we're on the right track...I think we'll all meet our goals.
'Hang in there...and way to go!!!
I would also feel the same way if I dont move my scale in that long of a time period. I weighed last Tuesday and nothing at all so I decided to wait till this Tuesday to weigh again. I am anxious to weigh, and I hope I am not disappointed. As long as I lose something I will be happy but if its nothing, I might be looking for that same bridge..
I know what you are talking about. I only lost 1.5 pounds last week, but the incredible part is that I lost 18.75 inches. So even if that scale isn't moving very fast the inches are dropping off. I've lost 15 pounds since surgery, but I've lost 54.5 inches total. I decided to go by my measurements vs the scale for a while. Have a great day, and keep up the good work. Deb
