no meat for me

Hi! I've noticed that my body rejects poultry and can handle red meat just fine. I tried turkey and chicken (in slow cookers the whole day... falls apart, tiny bites, the whole shabang...) and I vomited each immediately. Now, when I try ground beef, or those veggie crumbles (not beef) or even slow-cooked roast beef in tiny bites and chewed 50 times... no problems. Nicole's advice is good. All of our bodies are different and our bodies will let us know right away what it will accept or not. Just try every couple of days - a little dose. We just need to give it time. Katie

Hello, Of course everyone has had different views on ways to eat, and drink. How many of you see your dietition still? I am 4 weeks out and I am still on pureed food, in fact, I started July 12. I won't be going to reg foods until Aug. 15th. If you are having trouble eating meat you may need to add a little liquid to it. I have been trying to follow my Dr. advice or he'll get on your butt. Its all worth it. Look what I have put my body threw to get to this point. Why have the surgery and put yourself threw it if you are not following your dr. orders or see your dietition on a reg basic? I want to wish every one good luck. I hope everyone gets what they are hoping for out of this. Sandy PS Dee i agreee with you :}
