Has anyone tried...or is anyone using fiber choice chewable tablets? OMG... I chewed one Wednesday night and my tummy swelled and rumbled and rumbled. I thought "Good, it's working." The next morning I'm up a pound and IT DIDN'T work. I still need help.... Here I was worried before wls that I wouldn't make it to the bathroom on time when I went back to work... little did I know I would have the opposite problem! How is everyone else beating the constipation? ((hugs)) Pam

How do you take the Omega-3? Do you break them open and mix it in food? I've thought about taking those before because Omega-3 is so good for you...but I just didn't know HOW to do it since I can't swallow pills. I'm tellin' ya...I have GOT to find something that works!! It's just miserable! And I'm convinced that's why my scale doesn't move for a whole week at a time. Thanks, Pam

My last time was exactly SEVEN days ago today! My scale hasn't moved since SUNDAY (except it went up a pound then back down a pound). It's so frustrating. I was doing it every 3-4 days...and when I went on travel....every other day! I can't figure it out. I wanna go every other day! (the things we talk about!) I go back to the surgeon on Tuesday....so I'm gonna rant to him about it when I get there. TODAY I'm gonna try some extra extra walking. Maybe I could go to the pool...hmmmm....I'm not sure I'm up to chasing the five year old around the pool....maybe Grandmom is available? hmmmmm...well....I'm gonna do SOMETHING! ((hugs)) Pam

Hi, I had a terrible time with constipation at first. My doctor told me to get Colace (or store brand-much cheaper at Walmart). I can take up to two of these a day-one in the morning and one at night. If that does not work (and at first it did not) take Milk of Magnesia also. I had to do this for a couple of days. At first, I got very, very loose stools and had lots of discomfort in that area! I had to take soaks in a warm tub, and use a cream in that area with Benzocaine in it for relieve, but eventually, just the Colace is doing the trick. The nutritionist told me to eventually limit the Colace though because your body can become dependent apon it. Hope this helps, and hope you feel better soon. Sincerely, LMW

You are so lucky! I wish the carb countdown would help me. I have two glasses per day and nothing...nata...zip. I may have to get some MoM or colace....although, I'm scared of being dependant on it or anything else for that matter. ((hugz)) Pam

Have you tried a cup of SF hot chocolate? I have seen that posted on the board before. When I tried it, it worked. Maybe that will help you out. Shelley
