Weight has stopped!
KATHY that is very common and why i have mentioned to many to measure measure measure so those moments when the scale dont know
you can watch the inches melt away.
ITS normal that the body catches up then you start getting a whooshie!

ANd from time to time we need our bodies to adjust to what its loosing!

KATHY, this happened to me after about 10-12 days post op, and I stayed that way for a week. I was really getting worried, as to that point, I had lost 15 pounds in a hurry, and then nothing. I thought, I did ALL THIS for nothing!!! Well, after a week passed, I started losing again, and lost another 6 pounds last week. My total lost weight is now ~22 pounds, but I've lost 28+ inches. And, the whole time I was stuck at one weight for a week, I continued to lose inches.
I was told about a thing called the "hibernation syndrome", and that helped ease my mind about the whole thing. Your body freaks out and goes into starvation mode, and hangs onto what it has. Soon enough, it gets the message that no more food is coming in (except for the tiny amounts we're taking in at this point), and it starts working off the fat stores. I have some Keto strips left from one of my tries with the Atkins Diet, so I am using these, and they've been in the purple zone since I got home from the hospital. So, it's happening.
Stay the course, and you'll do fine. Any day now the weight will start coming off again.
Cheers to you,

Kathy are you getting in your protein? I just went in for my 2 weeks check up and was told that I need to get in the protein to have the weight come off. I can tell by my scale on the days that I do well and when I don't. I do not weight my self everyday maybe every 2 or 3 days. Don't want to be disapointed. Sandy
